Darren Andrews, who has been a non-executive director of Proxisense for 2 years, has joined the exec team as Chief Business Officer. His role will involve developing the market and product needs for process analytical technology applications, with a particular focus on the pharmaceutical market.
Darren founded the Raman technology company Cobalt Light Systems, a spin-out that developed products for Pharmaceutical Analysis, Airport Security Screening and First Responder Materials ID. Having exited the business to Agilent Technologies Darren headed up Agilent’s spectroscopy strategy and investments before leaving to provide leadership to start-up companies.
