The thermal product sensor can accurately measure minute levels of contamination, such as water, in critical fluids, such as aviation fuel.

Measurement of the concentration levels of water contamination can be done at any point through the fuel delivery infrastructure. This can be achieved using either a fixed installation or handheld portable devices.

Real-time measurement of contamination levels at low concentrations

The fuel contamination sensor system can be deployed within static fluid fuel storage tanks or in-line in a moving fuel delivery system. Water presence as low as 10 ppm can be measured and the system is capable of detecting both free and saturated water.

Fixed fuel storage contamination systems are design to operate 24/7 all year around. This provides continuous measurement of water concentration levels. The system come complete with hardware and software that can analyse change in concentration in real-time and predict when contamination levels are likely to become critical. The system can be wirelessly connected to any appropriate device that is fitted with a PrOXisense app. Users can configure alarms levels as required.

We have also developed a handheld version of the fuel contamination system. This enables instant measurement of the presence of water and the concentration levels present at any suitable access point within the fuel storage and delivery system. The unit is capable of tracking measurement to individual storage tanks or access points, enabling the analysis of trends over time to be made.
